Lebes Vases
A lebes is a deep bowl, usually handleless and with a low neck. The shape is one of the oldest in Athenian black-figure, and continues to be made into the fifth-century. Lebes Vases are also preserved in metal, and the shape can be incorporated into a tripod. There are many references to lebetes as prizes.
Lekythos Vases
A lekythos is a type of Greek pottery used for storing oil (Greek λήκυθος), especially olive oil. It has a narrow body and one handle attached to the neck of the vessel. The Lekythos Vases was used for anointing dead bodies of unmarried men and many lekythoi are found in tombs.

The word psykter means "cooler," and it was used for cooling wine, The Psykter Vases was placed in a krater which had been filled with cooled water, and the cooling liquid would surround the psykter and cool the wine.
